Veterinarian Dr. Mark Stanfill is an Ovilla native, graduating from Red Oak High School. He received both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. He opened Animal Hospital of Ovilla in 1999.

Dr. Stephanie Gorman is a Midlothian High School graduate. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, completing her clinical year at Texas A&M University.
